Village Trust

The Brightling Village Trust is a charity set up in 1987 to act as an umbrella body for the Village to organise events, for example, the Queen’s Golden Jubilee street party and Beacon lighting in 2012. If any money is raised it is then held in account and distributed when needed to other village societies or Brightling villagers in need. Trustee and Chairman: Charles Everett. Trustees: Mark Bridge, Nicola Magill, David Gasson and Bob Howell. The Trust meets twice a year.
