The Princess of Wales’ favourite Fashion Design House

St Thomas a Becket is delighted to announce a fascinating evening in the company of the fashion designer Said Cyrus, who will be talking about designs he and his late wife, Catherine Walker, created for the late Princess of Wales.

Using mood boards, photographs and original embroidery samples, Said will explain the inspiration and design process behind some the most photographed and iconic dresses of the 20th Century.

He will also be excitingly sharing his original drawings which include notes on them in the Princess’s handwriting.

This rare occasion to enjoy museum quality pieces of history is not to be missed and we are very grateful to Said and delighted that we have been given this wonderful opportunity.

Saturday 1st October at 5pm, Brightling Village Hall. Tickets of £10 each will all go towards the repairs of the church roof.
