A message from our Police Community Support Officer, Emma Phillips:

I just wanted to send an email out to you all to advise you that there has been a farm broken into in Penhurst, where there has been a quad bike and machinery stolen. This occurred between 00:01 – 06:00 on 14/08. Also in the last week, we have also seen a couple of tack room breaks and a Toyota Hilux was stolen in Burwash.

Please can I ask, if you have any group chats in your local area, especially in the farming communities, please do ask everyone to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity. We have seen some reports coming in and we are looking into them.
