Brightling annual litter clear up – Saturday, 15 April 2023, 10.00 am, starting at the Village Hall

Driving and walking around our lanes you can’t help but notice the accumulation of plastic bottles, empty beer cans and fast food packaging strewn along the verges.
Once again, it is time to have a good clear up before all that rubbish gets hidden under the new spring growth.
Please come along and join us outside the Village Hall on Saturday 15 April at 10.on am for what always turns out to be a cheerful and productive morning.
Bring rubber gloves and a hi-vis vest if you have one. We will supply the rubbish bags and have a limited number of litter-picking tongs available.
If you are unable to join us that morning, but would like to help by clearing your local stretch of verge at some other time, please get in touch so we can tick it off the list.
