Easter Saturday service in Brightling church – 8th April, 7:00pm starting with bonfire in Brightling Park, followed by Easter egg hunt

On Easter Saturday – 8th April, 7:00 pm – we are planning to celebrate Easter, the start of spring, with a bonfire and service of light and everyone is invited.

We will begin the service gathered by the bonfire in Brightling Park before we have a candle-lit procession through the door in the wall, along the path and into the church, where there will be readings and hymns. There will be drinks after the service and although it will be late, there will be an Easter egg hunt for the children.

Please note that this is not a communion service; that will take place at Mountfield church on Sunday 9th April at10:00 am
