Full fibre broadband in Brightling, Woods Corner, parts of Netherfield – getting closer – Brightling, East Sussex – village website

The project to bring full fibre broadband to these areas (with download speeds of up to 900 Mbps) started on 8 July 2022 and was due to complete 12 months later – so it is now running a bit behind plan. However, it seems that the end is now in sight.

The following areas have been completed and enabled for full-fibre broadband; service can be ordered now:

  • Darvell Estate, Netherfield
  • Brightling Road east of Oxley’s Green
  • Premises between Coldharbour Farm and Pelham Bucks.

For the other areas, here is the latest status report from BT / Openreach. When it says “Expected completion” expect a further unpredictable period of time for “quality checks”. Any queries / comments, please email HighWealdsuperfastbroadband@gmail.com
