There will be a short Evensong service starting at 6 p.m. to include a few hymns which would have been known to Jack Fuller, plus one to be accompanied by the Barrel Organ which, as you know, was provided by Mr. Fuller.

After the service there will be an opportunity to view some information boards showing the progress of the restoration work. Jamie Smith and Garry Barham, who carried out the actual work, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. The pyramid gate will be unlocked to give you the opportunity to have a look inside the burial chamber. We will make sure we have a torch so that you can shine it through the inner grill to see right inside. This is a special opportunity for this service only, so don’t miss the chance.

All this will be accompanied by a glass of wine or a soft drink. The weather forecast is good.
