More frustrating news from East Sussex Highways for residents at the above addresses.

Works to investigate and clear drainage blockages initially planned for September and then rescheduled to take place 27-31 October have been postponed once again with no new date confirmed until the next financial year.

East Sussex Highways say they “recognise the frustration this will cause to residents but the approved budgetary allocation for this period has now been fully untilised, and as a result, some previously scheduled maintenance works are being re-scheduled”.

East Sussex Highways apologise for the disruption and uncertainty this has created. Brightling Parish Council will continue to press for progress.
