We live on the edge of Brightling and are currently selling our car. Last night we had buyers who turned out to be scammers. Despite having CCTV, they managed to surreptitiously sabotage the vehicle, in order to ‘take it off our hands’ as it appeared to be broken. We are old hands at selling and have sold many cars over the years, but this was a new experience. We have reported it to the police but wanted to alert everyone.
