Pledging page: which should I choose: residential, business, or sole trader?

If you run a business of any kind from home, please choose business or sole trader, as vouchers for these are worth £3500 rather than £1500 residential. You may later be asked to produce some evidence, such as a bank statement or invoice with your address on it.

If you are a freelance worker, working from home, pick “sole trader”.

You do not have to be a limited company to count as a business. If necessary, enter zeroes in the company number field.

If you are an employee who works from home, you have to pick “residential”

Should I check the box that says “Your postcode has been identified as being eligible for a further local body top up….”

Yes, please tick this box. It costs you nothing and means that the scheme gets extra money from East Sussex County Council, making it more likely to be successful.
