As Ann-Marie wrote in the Messenger for June, Sunday 25th June is her final church service, before her retirement. This will take place at 10.00 a.m. at Netherfield church and it is hoped many of you will come to a celebration of the nine and a half years she has been with us.

This also coincides with Ann-Marie’s 75th birthday. It will be open house at the Rectory in Brightling from 1.00 p.m. until, to quote, “the last guest goes home”. There will be, again to quote, “plenty to eat and drink and an opportunity to chat and share memories.” Although Ann-Marie has received offers of food and cake, if you would like to contribute to the feast in any way, please let her know.
