Brightling Annual Village meeting 2021

This is a meeting for everyone in the village.

In an exciting new departure this year, it will be held on-line via Zoom.

The meeting starts at 7:30pm on Wednesday 14 April (you can log on and join before this time).

The details of how to log on will be emailed to all known email addresses in the village on 7th April.  If you are not sure whether you are on this mailing list (and would like to be) then you can register by visiting this web page: http://eepurl.com/g5UjCb It will tell you if you are already on the list.    NB All bulk village emails contain an unsubscribe link, which works, so if you move away or simply lose interest, you can stop the messages any time.

One highlight of the meeting will be an interactive session with Mr Tom Miles of UK Power Networks who will be answering your questions about recent power cuts and what is being done to reduce them (if you have a question for him, please email it to the clerk at brightlingclerk@gmail.com before 9th April).

There will also be an opportunity for various village organizations to present their plans for the future (Flower Show, yes!), a report from the Parish Council, and an opportunity to “chat”.

We have never had a village meeting by Zoom before and maybe never will again, so who knows how it will go? It might be another Handforth; we can only hope.
