… including a Brighling Follies walk
The High Weald AONB unit is running another walking festival following the success of last year’s one. The full list of walks can be accessed here.
I note in particular that there is a “Brightling Follies” walk on Tuesday 17 September, starting at 10.00am from Darwell Hole car park. (Map ref: TQ 695 195). Distance / duration: 7½ miles / 3½ to 4 hours. Difficulty: Leisurely, Dogs on leads welcome, bring packed lunch if required, accompanied children (7+) welcome.
Another one that appealed to me is “Orchards and Forest – spotting some rare trees” starting from John’s Cross (school) car park at 10:00 am on Sunday 15th September.
