I am delighted to invite you to this year’s Rother Parish Conference which is taking place remotely on Microsoft Teams.
Please find an updated programme attached as we have had a change in speaker.
There are spaces still available so if you know of anyone else who would like attend then please email me and I will send them an invitation.
For Rother staff and Councillors and for those of you already familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Teams, please accept your invitation and join the meeting in the normal way. The conference will begin promptly at 3pm so please ensure you have joined in good time.
For those of you who are new to Microsoft Teams, this is your invitation so please keep it safe. You will be able to join the conference using any internet ready device. There are 3 options for joining:
* Option 1 – On a laptop or PC using the internet. You must be running Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome as your web browser
* Option 2 – On a laptop or PC using the Microsoft Teams app
* Option 3 – On a mobile device using the Microsoft Teams app
I have attached user guides for all 3 options, please follow the one most appropriate for you. The process may vary slightly on different devices, but the basic principles should be close enough for you to follow. Please test your device and/or familiarise yourself with the joining process before the day of the conference to ensure you are able to take part. For those of you downloading the app, this can take several minutes so I would recommend you do this well in advance. Again, the conference will begin promptly at 3pm so make sure you join in plenty of time
We look forward to seeing you at the conference
